P.E. - Coen -2A for being extremely respectful and showing great levels of empathy throughout the swimming program

Visual Arts - Christina V 3B Christina always shows respect and focus in art.  She is very creative and is attentive during mini lessons which helps her artistic development.  She exemplifies the school value of “Be a Learner”. Congratulations Christina and well done!

Performing Arts - Trey FA for demonstrating fantastic integrity and pride in his singing and dancing. Well done for being a good collaborator and helper to your peers and presenting your skills to your class with confidence!

Chinese - Youssef 2A for fitting into Chinese class so quickly and making an effort to join Chinese class activities. You did such a great job applying Chinese sentence structure to introduce your family members. Well done and keep it up!

LLI (Years 3) - Ana 3A for your great start to LLI this term! Keep working hard and reading everyday. You are kicking goals!

LLI (Years 1) - Jasper 1A for attentive listening during  LLI sessions. You should feel proud of the effort that you are applying to improve your reading skills. Keep up the great work, Jasper!

6A - Leah This award is for being an independent learner who completes her work to a high standard.  Fantastic Effort Leah!

 6B -Najeeb This award is for  showing an improvement in his  behaviour and effort towards his learning.  Keep it up Najeeb!

6C - Gurugunn This award is for  being an excellent leader and role model at DPW. Keep it up!

 5A - Matthew for being an upstander at DPW. Sometimes things are not safe, and you have shown courage and integrity by helping to sort out an issue. Thankyou for your efforts in keeping our school a safe place to be! 

Minh - for always showing her best attitude and work ethic. Minh you have developed so much more confidence and collaboratively work alongside and with others with patience and effort. I am very proud of how much effort you are putting into your learning. Keep it up Minh!

5B - Vishwak for consistently serving as a role model for his peers by always striving to do his best in all learning activities. Well done, Vishwak! Keep up the fantastic work!

5C - Ayden for engaging in classroom activities, and having a positive attitude at school. Keep up the great work! 

4A - Amir for his efforts and determination to improve his writing. He set an ambitious learning goal to improve his writing stamina by writing a 300 word narrative. Amir even chose to take his writing draft outside to work on at lunch time! Well done Amir! You have shown pride, integrity and resilience!

4B - Thao for showing many of our school values. Her peers have voted for Thao because she is kind and funny. She shows resilience when completing her work and most importantly works collaboratively and respectfully in group work.

4C - Max for showing respect, collaboration and resilience. Max offered support and comfort to his peers whenever needed, and collaborated with respect in the classroom and out in the yard. Keep up the amazing work, Max!

3A - Allen - for consistently serving as a role model for her peers by always striving to do her best in all learning activities. Well done, Allen! Keep up the fantastic work!

3B - Moses - for your enthusiasm and determination when learning about fractions this week. It has been great to see you persevering and trying your absolute best. Great work, Moses!

3C - Maja for being a helpful and motivated member of our class. She has shown pride and collaboration in all aspects of her classwork this week. Keep up the fantastic work, Maja!

2A - Youssef  for being a confident and friendly addition to our class this term. It’s been so great seeing you give everything a try and hear you share your ideas daily.  

2C - Rania for being so focused on her learning and giving all her tasks her best go. She has shown fantastic resilience and perseverance while working hard towards her learning goals. Keep up the great work Rania!

1B -  Moses for a fantastic first week at Deer Park West Primary School. You have displayed resilience, kindness and respect to your teachers and peers. Well done Moses! I can’t wait to see you grow as a learner in our classroom. 

1A -Ashley for taking pride in her learning when using nets to make 3D objects this week. Well done Ashley, keep up the great effort!

FA - Zyna for a great first week at Deer Park West. Well done! 

FB - Zayde for demonstrating integrity. In Maths, he engaged in a learning task about patterns. Zayde enthusiastically created patterns and was able to answer the problem-solving question with confidence. Amazing work Zayde!
