Cowpasture Network Public Speaking Competition

Students from K - 6 will have the opportunity to try out for the Cowpasture Network Public Speaking Competition 2024. Students are to present a prepared speech and an impromptu speech at school. There will only be one winner chosen per stage. 

Thank you to the families who have returned the Expression of Interest (EOI) note. EOI note submissions are now closed.

Last week, there was a meeting where students were provided with the possible topics for each stage. Students have until Monday in Week 9 to complete their speeches. During school time, from the 16th September to 18th September, short listing will occur. Students are required to bring their speech to school and keep this in their school bag for when they are called to short listing during the three days.

During Week 9 and 10 our school finalist competition will occur in the Hall where parents/ caregivers of finalists will be invited to attend and support their child/ren. 

Miss El-Khoury has been and will be available during Wednesday lunch times to support students with any questions. 

Winners from Years K-6 will compete in the network final held on Thursday, 24th October, Term 4 Week 2 at William Stimson Public School.
