Congratulations to Year 12 student, Tiger Hart
Last weekend Tiger Hart participated in a Karate tournament in Melbourne which was a qualifying tournament for the World Championships, which are being held in Tokyo next year.
Tiger fought in the Super Lightweight Divisions (against adults) and won in both categories. This is a marvellous achievement, and we are all very proud of his efforts, his inspiring talent and hard work.
Tiger will be competing in the Asia Championships in Thailand in November and is the youngest competitor in the Opens category.
We congratulate Tiger and wish him well for his future competitions.

Grading calendar now available
We are excited to announce that the SPX Basketball season is just around the corner! To ensure a successful start, we’ve created a detailed grading calendar, which you can view using the link below. This calendar will guide you through the grading process and help our players get ready for an exciting and competitive season.
To ensure equity and allow students as much time on the court as possible we have split the grading into groups. Students may then be invited to attend addition session if identified by the selectors. We want to extend a huge thank you to Danny Garrett, Jack Garrett and Stefan Senicic for their dedication and hard work in facilitating the grading process. Their expertise and commitment to our basketball program is invaluable, and we’re grateful to have them leading the way.
Let’s gear up for a fantastic season ahead! Check out the grading calendar and get ready to hit the court with enthusiasm and determination.

And, of course, to have fun. We are particularly keen to see more mums participate this year. Pull together a 4-Ball or just join as a single … either way a great day is guaranteed.
Details to follow but expect the usual array of golf prizes, celebrity guests/speakers, sponsors and, (tbc), a hole-in-one prize of a brand-new car!
