Athletics

NSW All Schools Athletics Championships

During the school holidays, several of our Pius athletes competed at the NSW All Schools Athletics Championships, showcasing their dedication, skill, and commitment to excellence.

Highlights include:

  • Cristiano Calcarao dominated the middle-distance track events, taking 1st place in both the 14 Years 800m and 1500m.

  • James Mikan excelled in the field, securing 1st place in both the 14 Years Long Jump and Triple Jump.

  • Hunter Austin impressed with a 2nd place finish in the 14 Years Shot Put.

These outstanding results mean Cristiano, James, and Hunter have all qualified to represent NSW at the upcoming Australian All Schools Athletics Championships, to be held in Victoria from 4–7 December 2025.

Congratulations to all our athletes on their remarkable achievements and for proudly representing St Pius X College at state level.
