Halloween Dress-Up & Day for Daniel 

On Friday 31st October, we’ll be celebrating both Halloween Dress-Up Day and Day for Daniel — combining a day of fun and creativity with an important focus on child safety.

Students are invited to come dressed in Halloween costumes, something red, or a mix of both — their choice! Please remember to keep costumes school-appropriate (no scary masks or props, thank you).

There will be no whole-school parade this year, but classes will still enjoy the festive spirit together throughout the day.

About Day for Daniel

Day for Daniel is Australia’s largest child safety awareness and education day, organised by the Daniel Morcombe Foundation. It’s a national day of action to help children learn how to recognise unsafe situations, react if they feel uncomfortable, and report to a trusted adult if something doesn’t feel right.

Throughout the week, classroom teachers will be delivering child safety lessons during wellbeing sessions, supporting students to develop these important lifelong skills.

We look forward to seeing our students’ creativity, colour and energy shine on the day — and to taking part in this meaningful national event together.

Remembrance Day Badges

Students will be selling Remembrance Day badges during break times every day until the 11th of November. Send along some money ($1 - $5) to purchase a badge. 

🧠 Did You Know? 🧠

Punishment doesn’t teach regulation — it often triggers more dysregulation. Instead, co-regulation (calming with an adult) helps children learn how to calm themselves over time.
