Secondary School

This week has been a significant one for our Year Twelve students. Today marks their final day of school and tomorrow we celebrate with Valedictory chapel, assembly and lunch.

This morning, students and staff came together for a lively water fight; a fun and wholesome way to mark the end of their school journey before heading into Valedictory rehearsals and final House meetings.

As a parting gift, our Year Twelve students have donated a tree, which will be planted this afternoon. It will begin a tree-lined driveway on the gym side of the school, a lasting legacy from this year’s graduating class. Over time, as future cohorts add their own trees, this space will grow into a meaningful and welcoming entrance to our school. Moments like these, especially the shared ritual of graduation, help foster a deep sense of belonging among students and staff. They remind us that we are part of something larger than ourselves and they create shared experiences that strengthen relationships across our community. Importantly, the connection with GSG does not end at graduation. Our alumni remain a valued part of our school community and as we continue to grow, so too will the strength of that network.

Melbourne Media and Digital Technologies Tour 2026 - Expressions of Interest

We are excited to once again offer our Melbourne Media and Digital Technologies Tour as part of our interstate tour opportunities.

This tour presents an excellent opportunity for students interested in digital technologies, computer science, media studies, filmmaking and creative industries. Among visits to tertiary institutions, meeting with industry experts, and attending PAX AUS, there will be many opportunities for sightseeing and immersion in Melbourne city life.
