Celebration of a Rite of Passage

I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and congratulate the Year Twelve graduating Class of 2025.

Our Year Twelve cohort has served GSG with distinction and lived our school values through their actions. They have engaged in the whole life of our community, shaping a culture of belonging among all students.

We are very proud of each one of them and there is much to celebrate.

As a cohort, I have been heartened by the deep warmth of connection they have with each other. This is a special group of young adults who celebrate diversity and the spirit of inclusion. As a result, they now leave the confines of the school gates to go out into the world and have a long and lasting impact on the communities they serve.

To our Year Twelve graduating class of 2025:

You have reached a significant milestone and an exciting juncture in your life; there is so much to look forward to!

If you have already chartered the next steps in your life towards further study, work, travel or something else, well done, go for it! Your purpose is clear and hold onto what is important.

If you lack conviction and are unsure of your next steps in life’s journey, fear not, I still am working out what I am going to do when I grow up. However, I do know that life is not linear. It is full of ever-changing seasons of opportunity. Trust that your path will unfold before you.

Our prayer is that you may go out into the world, be a light to others, serve your communities well and seek purpose and meaning in all you do.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16

Go well
