Y9: Robotics Incursion

Our Year 9 Robotics students recently had a wonderful opportunity to work with Muslims in Tech, an organisation dedicated to inspiring and supporting young Muslims in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
During the hands-on workshop, students collaborated with industry professionals to design, construct, and test robots, gaining valuable insight into real-world engineering challenges. Working in teams, they applied their knowledge of engineering principles, mathematics, and computer science to solve practical problems and bring their creative ideas to life.
Representatives from Muslims in Tech shared their personal career journeys, highlighting the importance of innovation, teamwork, and faith-driven excellence in the technology industry. Their mentorship encouraged students to explore how their passions in STEM can develop into meaningful career pathways while contributing positively to the wider community.
The day left students energized and inspired, with strengthened technical and problem-solving skills, and bigger dreams about their futures in technology and innovation.
