Dear Families,
I hope you all enjoyed a great break with your families and are feeling recharged as we step into the final term of the year. Spring has arrived, bringing with it a sense of renewal and growth. Over the weekend, I found myself reflecting on this while pottering in the greenhouse - planting seedlings that, with a little care, will hopefully flourish into summer crops. It's a lovely reminder of the new beginnings we're nurturing here at school too.
This term marks an exciting time for many of our students and families. Next week, we welcome our 2026 Foundation families to our Parent Information session, followed closely by the start of our transition program. It's an important time for our Grade 6 students as well, who begin their journey toward secondary school. While many will confidently tell us that they're not nervous, we know that beneath the surface, there's a mix of emotions - and that's perfectly normal. We will support them, and you, as we navigate their final term of primary school.
I endorse Michelle's invitation to you all to join us at our special liturgy to celebrate our patron saint, St Therese, on Friday. We strive to do all that we do with love, just as she did remembering that nothing is small in the eyes of God. I also urge you to join us on Thursday afternoon, week 2, for our small 'concert' led by Andrew Chinn. Andrew is the most amazing performer, musician and teacher who shares so much joy with the children. I have had the pleasure of watching him work with students on many occasions and I hope you can join us.
As with previous terms, this one is going to be a busy one but there is lots of fun to be had too! I hope your children have had a great start to the term.
