Learning in M26

A Fantastic Term Four 

We’ve had a wonderful start to Term 4 in M26, settling quickly back into our learning routines and enjoying lots of exciting new topics. In Maths, we’ve been exploring data and learning how to represent information using pictographs and column graphs. We’ve had lots of fun collecting and displaying data about our favourite foods, play areas at school, and even video games! 

In English, we’ve started reading a new novel, The One and Only Ivan. It tells the story of a gorilla and his friends who live in an enclosure inside a shopping mall and are made to perform for audiences. The story has sparked some fantastic class discussions about animal protection and whether animals should perform in circuses. It’s been a thoughtful and engaging way to begin the term! 

We’re looking forward to more exciting learning and discussions as the term continues. It’s been a fantastic start, and we can’t wait to see all the wonderful progress and achievements to come in M26!
