News from our Principal..
...Mrs Clarke..
Welcome back to Term 2 and as we commence Week 3 it is timely to remind students and their families that students will have the opportunity to be attending excursions and camps in the coming months and that in order to attend these extra activities children do need to have a certain amount of independence (eg showering and dressing themselves, cleaning and packing up equipment). They are also expected to 'attempt challenging tasks, individually and with classmates' (usually different to what they are use to at school) while on camp and excursions as per our schools Student Code of Conduct. We would ask that families start to have conversations with their children's teachers if they foresee any concerns with your child attending.
Our ANZAC Assembly was held at school last week with Goondiwindi RSL President Mr Bill Brassington sharing his experience. We also proudly Marched as a school in the Town March and we thank the Goondiwindi RSL for organising all the events held on April 25 each year. It was wonderful to have so many of our students and staff attend and represent our school.
Prep 2025 'Principal Enrolment Chats' will commence in Week 5. Enrolment packs are available from the school office, please share this information with family and friends.
Parent Teacher Interviews were held at the end of Term 1. Any parent that was unable to attend please remember that teachers are able to meet at another mutually suitable time, please contact the teacher directly or the office to arrange a meeting if need.
