What's Happening In Primary

News and Information from Primary

As you walk around the Primary classrooms, there is a beautiful array of artwork representing the Easter story. As we spend the week preparing for Easter we asked some students what Easter meant to them:

Jesus died on the cross and eating eggs - Cohen (Prep)

Jesus died on the cross and then He rose again - Emiyah (Year 1/2)

It means that God died on the cross and we get Easter eggs - Mia (Year 1/2)

Seeing family - Bronte (Year 5/6)

Spending time with family and celebrating Jesus - Ruby (Year 5/6)

The Easter season can mean many things to many people. Family, holidays, a time of reflection or a time of community. At DCS, Easter is a declaration of JILOA: Jesus is Lord of All. We will spend time as a community on Thursday morning exploring the Easter story and all Jesus has done for us.

Easter Service Assembly

Please join us tomorrow (Thursday 28th March) from 8.35am for our Easter Service Assembly in the Jiloa Centre.

All are welcome.
