Good afternoon families.
Thank you for a wonderful Term 1 and all the support we have received.
Congratulations to Mrs Tanya Stefanec and Mr Gary Young who became Catholics on Saturday night at the Easter vigil. It was a joyous occasion for the whole congregation and the 10 children and adults who also joined the Catholic faith. Father Andrew was wonderful in making the whole liturgy a celebration for everyone who attended.
Thank you to our newly formed PFA and to the Year 4 parents who ran the Easter Egg raffle. We raised $3400 and we will discuss ideas at the next PFA meeting about where we see a need for the money to be spent. Thank you to all the families for donating the eggs for the raffle.
Thank you to the teachers and staff for their great job this term. The care and dedication they give to all students is a credit to each of them and I am very privileged to work with such a wonderful staff.
Winter Uniform
Winter uniform will compulsory as from Monday 29 April. For the first 2 weeks of Term 2, students can choose between full winter or full summer uniform depending on the weather. It has been bought to my attention that some students are wearing skorts as part of their full summer uniform. Skorts can only be worn on PE day. All students may wear gabardine shorts ( girls or unisex) as part of their winter uniform. White socks for sport and navy socks for winter uniform.
Please help with supporting correct uniform as it is part of who we are as a school and a Catholic system.
Uniform Shop
Lisa is away for Monday and Tuesday of Week 1. The uniform shop will be opened on Monday after school. Thank you Gabby for filling in for Lisa.
