Year 3 - Life is a celebration, and we are all invited
In our Year 3 class, we have been learning about different events and celebrations around the world as part of our current Unit of Inquiry, “How we express ourselves”.
We are learning how to greet each other in the different languages spoken by our classmates.
“Goeie môre” / “Ni Hao” / “Selamat pagi”
We have enjoyed learning about different traditions held by our classmates and exploring the different ways in which we can celebrate. We have gained a new understanding and appreciation for how unique we are.
We created our own family emblems representing different things that are important to us.

We look forward to our upcoming Celebrations Day where we will experience and learn about different traditions, including tasting a few traditional dishes!

Indonesian for Year 2 students
Bel, Klara, Isis, Lily and Abaigeal have been working hard on learning Indonesian numbers.
Congratulations on receiving a certificate for counting in Indonesian.
