Snapshots from Springvale Campus

Our Harmony Day celebration this week once again brought our whole Springvale Campus community together in a morning full of fabulous performances, wise words from special visitors and of course, the amazing parade that showcased outfits from all the different cultures we have at our wonderful school. We thank everyone who supported this very special event. Our hearts are full!

This term’s lunch clubs have been a huge success with different activities running each lunchtime to provide students with a fun indoor play option. Students engaged in dancing, card games, board games, origami, drawing and Lego building which helped them to develop new friendships and skills as well as work on their collaboration, respect and resilience.  Thank you to all our wonderful teachers who have volunteered to run one of these clubs. We can’t wait to see what will be on offer next term.

Last week we were lucky enough to receive a very generous donation of fruit and fruit buns from Woolworths. The students on both campuses enjoyed some extra delicious snacks and were very grateful for this special treat. We would like to extend a BIG thank you to Anup and his team at Woolworths Springvale for supporting our school community!

Lastly, congratulations to all the Grade 3 and Grade 5 students who completed four NAPLAN tests in the past fortnight. We are super proud of all their efforts! The results will be available next term.

Have a fabulous end of Term 1 everyone!

Take care,

Mrs Mirela Karup
