Introducing our Sustainability Leaders for 2024

We are excited to introduce Claire and Isla as our Sustainability Leaders for this year. All the staff and students look forward to working with them on protecting and enhancing our school's natural environment.

Isla and Claire were introduced to the school community at our last whole school assembly, and began their work straight away! They spoke at the assembly to inform the students that organic bins were back for 2024 and the type of organic materials that could be put in the bins.

Isla B

Isla is passionate about taking care of the environment. She was a Planet Saver in Year 3 and always tries to recycle. She takes batteries to the recycle bin at Woolworths, uses the Container Recycling Program and gives away clothes and possessions she has outgrown to her family and friends.

Claire G

Claire is also keen to look after the environment and has been a Planet Saver in her time at VPS. She uses the Container Recycling Program too, for her family's containers. Claire loves helping people and is willing to help other students and the VPS community to learn more ways to protect our environment.
