Information regarding 2025 Booklists can be found on the College website, under the Parents tab. In order to ensure a smooth process, please initially read the link titled ‘How to Order’. Please do note that digital purchases are compulsory, and physical textbooks are listed as an optional item whenever possible. To ensure students receive all available items in time for the commencement of the academic year, please order by Friday, 8 December 2024.
Year 10 students will enjoy two social events during Week 9. On Wednesday December 4, students will experience a special dinner at the Byford & District Country Club. Further information regarding this event has been shared with families this week. In addition, on Thursday December 5, students will celebrate their 2024 achievements at Adventure World. A big ‘thank you’ to Ms Hoa and Mrs Merry for their support in coordinating these events for our students.
All Year 10 students are currently learning about the adult world by enjoying two weeks of work experience. Mrs Davey, Mrs Merry and Mr Johns will visit students at their workplaces next week. The logbook that these students have been given is important; it will be the crux of the WPL Endorsed Program that they have been enrolled into. Parents should note that successfully completing this program will reduce the number of C grades students need to achieve in order to be awarded their West Australian Certificate of Education (WACE).
Where your talent and the needs of the world cross; there lies your vocation.
