A Message from the Principal

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

As the new Principal of Salvado Catholic College, I am excited to join this vibrant and dedicated community, and would like to thank everyone for the warm welcome I've received. With the final term of the school year upon us, it's important to take a moment to reflect on the College's achievements and share some thoughts as we move towards the end of the year.

Celebrating Our Achievements

This term has been filled with many accomplishments. Our students have excelled in academics, sports and the arts, showcasing their talents and hard work. Some of the highlights include:

  • Academic Excellence: Many students have worked hard to achieve outstanding results in their exams and assessments. We look forward to celebrating these achievements in the upcoming Secondary Awards Presentation and the Primary Awards Ceremony.

  • Sports Success: We have celebrated victories in various sports competitions through the year, demonstrating teamwork, perseverance and tenacity. Most notably, due to the outstanding results in ACC Competitions, our College has progressed into the 'I' Division.

  • Creative Endeavours: The arts have flourished, with impressive contributions in music, drama and visual arts. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs Rachael Knight for coordinating the College's inaugural Secondary Arts Production Nights, featuring the Secondary students in the play Hansel and Gretel - Sweet Success! I believe  it was a great success!

A Time for Gratitude and Reflection

As the school year draws to an end, it is a time for gratitude and reflection. I encourage everyone to take a moment to appreciate the hard work and achievements of the past year. Let's celebrate our successes and learn from our challenges, always striving to be the best we can be.

Thank you all for your continued support and commitment to our College Community!

Kind regards,

Karen Prendergast
