Year 6 Term 4 Summer Sport Inter-School Friday Competition

The Year 6 Summer Sport Friday competition commenced on Friday 18th October and will run every Friday until (and including) November 29th.

A fixture has been sent home with all students and a copy has been emailed to parents.

Foundation-Year 4 Swimming Program 

We are looking forward to the upcoming swimming program and would like to thank the parents who have responded to the Compass event. If you haven’t either paid and given consent please do so as soon as possible. 

The swimming program promotes water safety as well as learning to swim. If your child is not attending, please provide a medical certificate. 

Additionally, to prepare for the program, we would appreciate your support in promoting independence when dressing and undressing. We encourage all students to change independently. This is an age-appropriate skill for primary school children. Please ensure all clothing is labelled so we can return items to students if mislaid.  

The swimming program commences on Monday, 2nd December, and we would like to invite parents who have an up-to-date WWCC card to volunteer to assist. The WWCC card must be shown to and photocopied by office staff who keep a copy on file. If the school does not have a copy of your WWCC card, please attend to this by Monday 25th November. Class teachers will check this file to ensure all adults supporting have an up-to-date WWCC card by Friday, 29th November. Only parents who have registered as official volunteers will be able to travel on the bus and assist on the days. Other parents are welcome to travel independently and watch from the appropriate viewing areas.
