Splash & Dash Event
GET READY FOR THE BEST SCHOOL DAY EVER!
The Splash & Dash is Friday 22nd November.
Children should come to school wearing their white or light coloured clothes and suitable footwear (i.e. runners) ready to get squirted as they run around the oval.
Note:
- Children will get wet, so some might want bathers underneath
- Grade 6s will need to wear their school sports uniform to school for their inter-school sport, and they will change into their Splash & Dash clothes when they get back (they will be the first runners)
- If your child does not wish to be squirted, they should wear bright coloured clothes
The children are really looking forward to this event so thank you for your support.
The children will complete the fun and colourful run in grade groups starting with Grade 6s and working down to Foundation students.
We will be raising funds to upgrade the audio visual equipment at the school with a target $10,000, so we’re asking all families to pitch in!
What is the School Fun Run Splash & Dash?
It is an online fundraising program, where all families go home and create their own online profile. You then choose your target prizes and work towards hitting your target! In your profile you will have a unique cyber safe link to share with your family and friends to donate to get you close to your target.
What do we need you to do?
All we need you to do this week is create an online profile at funrun.com.au. The class with the most profiles by October 28th will the prize of some get extra free time!
This is an inclusive fundraiser we would love you to be a part of! If you would like to come down and watch your kids run, we would love to see you there!
We’ll share more information over the next few weeks and keep you up to date on our fundraising goals – who knows, we might even get to slime a few teachers if we hit our fundraising milestones!
Thank you all in advance for your support of this super fun activity for our children.
