Principal Report

Dear Parents, Carers, Guardians and Friends of the St Francis School Community,

Thank you again for the welcome that I have received since I joined the St Francis community.  I look forward to getting to know everybody in the St Francis community and thankfully we have a few events coming up that will allow this to take place.

Please note the many ceremonial and important events that we have in the next few weeks. I have already realised that St Francis is a vibrant, passionate and energy filled community. Please note the following for your calendar:

  • Tuesday 10th December:

Transition Day from 9am until 11am.  2025 Foundation students are at school and all  grades will move into their 2025 space with their 2025 teachers.

  • Thursday 12th December:

Thursday evening; Year 6 Graduation Dinner with students and staff.

  • Friday 13th December:

9.30am: Production Showcase, showing of each grade. These will either be   filmed or performed live for the entire school in the Gathering Space, beginning with the Foundation students and finishing with the Gr 5/6s.

                Re-scheduled Color Run:

Set up from 10am, on the SMOTA oval with the colour run beginning at midday.

After the run we will have hotdogs for lunch and students will be welcome to go                 home with families to enjoy a well-earned shower.

With Peace and Goodwill,

We've been working with Casual Step to source a new version of the school jumper that will wear better for the students.  Casual Step will have the new jumpers available to order ready for the 2025 school year.

Health Care Card Holders

Catholic Education Sandhurst Ltd (CESL) is pleased to inform Primary School families holding a valid Health Care Card (HCC) that you are eligible for a significant reduction in school fees for the upcoming year including all fees and levies.

The discount will be automatically applied to your school fee account once you provide a copy of your HCC to the school office, complete a CSEF form, and set up a direct debit arrangement.

If you've already submitted your HCC, completed the CSEF form, and have a direct debit in place, no further action is needed — the discount will be applied automatically.

We understand that many families have varying circumstances and in response to the rising cost of living expenses, we are committed to supporting those who need additional assistance.

Please be assured that this support is provided to ensure all students have the opportunity to thrive in our school community. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please contact the school office.
