Tabloid Sports Day

On Friday 15 November, Prep to Grade 5 students participated in St John's Tabloid Sports Day. Year 6 students used their leadership skills in coordinating and teaching a variety of games and activities. They were able to successfully showcase our Learning Powers to be: Reflective, Responsible, Creativity, Perseverance and Collaborative. A special mention to the following Year 6 students who exemplified the Learning Powers:

Reflective - Max S, Luca C and Maximus M

These students showed a wonderful ability to reflect on what worked and what didn't work from their dress rehearsal.

Responsible - Saihge R, Polly F, Mae C, Sinead N

These students were clear and consistent with the instructions and rules of their game.

Creativity - Simi J, Cleo M, Sabah T, Mietta C

These students were able to apply modifications to their games to suit all abilities throughout the whole day.

Perseverance - Zara and Sophie

These students persevered through a challenging task to create their own scavenger hunt. The grit and resilience to keep going throughout the day was great to see.

Collaborative - Oscar S, Lewis

These students were collaboratively working together by sharing roles and responsibility throughout the day to achieve a common goal.
