Recognition of Academic Achievement at St. Justin's
Maths Olympiad
Our Year 5 and 6 students have participated in the APSMO Maths Olympiad Competition throughout 2024. St Justin’s scored in the top 25% of team scores this year.
Cristian L, Lachlan D, Ritesh P, Tyson D, Ava O, Giacamo C, Joel R, Andy H, Leo B, Keith M, Liana S, Christian D, Eva C, Olivia B and Jonathon C are acknowledged for their participation in the competition. Olivia B is recognised for her outstanding effort and improvement, and Heath A, Keira H, Kim S, Leanne M, Stella C, Ted W and Lachlan J for scoring in the top 25% in the competition.
A special mention is given to Dev M, Oskar M and Joseph L for scoring in the top 10% in the competition. Danny W was our highest achiever who scored in the top 10% as well as receiving the highest score at St Justin’s.

ICAS
A group of students elected to sit the ICAS assessments in English, Writing and Mathematics this year. ICAS is an international assessment offered to students in Year 2-6.
Mila R, Elexis D, Tyson D, Andrew S, Sanaya G, Mary N, Phoebe J, Romeo D, Ritesh P and Jalon P are thanked for their participation. Arabella D, Mia G, Ayansa G, Lachlan J, Leanne M, Eva C and Ethan C are acknowledged for being awarded credit and/or merit in one or more of their assessments, while Elijah N, Anahera P, Joel P, Keith M, Joseph B and Heath A were awarded a distinction in one or more of their assessments. Romulus H is to be commended for his efforts, particularly in the area of English, where he was awarded a High Distinction, scoring him in the top 1% of Year 3 students who participated in Australia.
