St Joseph’s Primary is passionate about providing children with filling nutritious, affordable options. By following the National School Healthy Canteen Strategy our canteen is made up of 92% healthy choice options. The strategy increases the availability of healthy food and drink options in school canteens to make the healthy choice the easy choice.

We encourage all parents to place canteen orders early in the week as there can be a lag in the payment system on Canteen day. If you find you do not need the order, you do have until 8:30am on the morning to cancel it. No late orders can be accepted due to the Compass program and the way it stocktakes

****Anyone who had issues with canteen ordering last Friday you will be able to pay for your orders today Tuesday 12/11 and tomorrow Wednesday 13/11 via compass by selecting either 12/11 if paying today or 13/11. We do apologies for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. *****

ORDERING

• If you are ordering on your PC please select your Child's profile, Community, Canteen and it will say 'Welcome to canteen' - Get Started.

• If you are ordering from your phone you will need to: open in browser, select your child's profile and the canteen menu should be available to you there.

VOLUNTEERING

We would really love it if you could volunteer in the canteen between 10am and 1:30pm or any part of that time frame.

You will need a Volunteer Working with Children Check which is available through Service NSW and is free.
Unfortunately you won't be able to bring pre-schoolers to the canteen as this is a safety issue.
You would be helping to label bags and drinks, sorting items into classroom baskets, serving the Quelch's and Frozen Yoghurts at the serving window and food preparation for morning tea and lunch.
