A Message from the Principal

Dear Parents and Carers,

Annual School Plan Review Meeting

We had a very successful meeting last Friday with leadership teams from St Xavier’s Gunnedah, St Francis Xavier’s Narrabri, St Michael’s Manilla, the Armidale Catholic Schools Director and School Performance Leaders. We celebrated our successes and discussed our challenges.

We are really happy with the improvement in the students who have been involved in the SpellEx Program this year. The graph below shows how each student has shown growth in one of the Spellex groups; which is a very positive outcome. 

Our Stage 2 students have also experienced substantial growth in their recent PAT Assessments as seen by their Maths data below.

Canberra Excursion

Our Stage 3 students had a wonderful time in Canberra last week. Special thanks to Damien Brown who assisted our dedicated teachers Amanda Bartholomew and Robyn Wilson in supervising the students. I was impressed with the feedback I received from students when I spoke to them yesterday. A memorable experience for all.
