F/1/2 Fun night

On Thursday last week, we had our F/1/2 after-school fun night! The kids were really excited to be coming back to school for dinner and games! We played many fun games on the oval, such as parachute, egg and spoon races, obstacle courses, and more. After this, we had a BBQ dinner and then a treasure hunt to find bubbles and a unique lolly! We then ended the night with a special ice cream.

Maths

The Foundations have been learning about Place Value for the past two weeks in Maths. They have learnt how to represent 2-digit numbers using concrete materials such as MAB blocks and Icy-pole sticks. The MAB blocks have groups of ten, with ten mini blocks stuck together. The icy-pole sticks have a bundle of sticks representing 10. Here are some photos of the Foundation students making some 2-digit numbers!

Yipeeeee we know all the Phonics Sounds!!!

Well done to all the Foundation students who have learnt all the phonics sounds!! The Foundation students have loved creating word lists! Here is a word list they created using the 'au' sound!

Respectful Relationships

This term in Respectful Relationships, the Foundation students have been talking a lot about their likes and dislikes and what makes them special. They discovered many things, such as that it doesn't matter who you are, you can like anything! They also talked about Jobs and how people can dream of having any job when they are older. Here are our dreams!
