MacKillop Art Exhibition

On Monday all the Grade 6’s walked down to the Bendigo Military Museum. There we participated in the Remembrance Day Ceremony for 2024. During the ceremony we prayed, we listened to a guest speaker who told the story of a soldier and then we gave a minutes silence. Together, we got to lay a wreath on behalf of the St Kilian’s school.  It was great day and a really special way to remember those who fought for our freedom.

STATE ATHLETICS

On Wednesday the 6th of November Alexys, Abby, Mila and Georgia went to Melbourne for state athletics for the 4 x 100m relay. Abby was in the 100m and triple jump too. The relay was at 2:42pm, but we had to get there at 1 o'clock and there was a 30-minute delay when a thunderstorm came and we had to have another 30-minute delay, so we raced about and 1 hour after the scheduled time . We all rocked up to Macca’s after our relay and we had a lot of food and we went crazy.
