We are well into Term 2 and the libraries at both campuses are busy places.  During the school holidays the library staff carefully re-arranged the non fiction sections making them more accessible for our students. You might be surprised to learn that even though most students turn to the internet for all their knowledge, some of them still find it fascinating to flip through a well researched information book even if it is just for relaxation away from screens. We have a wide range of art and history books with beautiful illustrations as well as ‘Ripley’s Believe it or Not ‘ and the ‘Guinness World Records’. I feel there is still a place for non fiction in libraries as they can be used as an appendage to on line resources.
