'Celebrating Kindness in the Banksia Classroom'

We are thrilled to share a wonderful achievement from our Banksia classroom with you. Over the past few weeks, our children have been actively engaged in promoting kindness, empathy, thoughtfulness, and helpfulness, inspired by the concept of bucket filling.

Together, they have demonstrated exceptional dedication to filling each other's invisible buckets with positivity, culminating in a significant milestone—the overflowing of our classroom bucket with pom-poms. This tangible representation of their collective efforts speaks volumes about their commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

In celebration of this achievement, we organized a special event—a "wear your pyjamas to kinder day," a reward that the children themselves proposed and agreed upon. It was heartwarming to see the joy and excitement on their faces as they celebrated their success together.

During our celebration, each child received a "kindness award" in recognition of their contributions to our Banksia classroom community. The applause and support they received from their peers further underscored the strong sense of camaraderie and mutual respect that exists within our classroom.

We are immensely proud of our children for their compassion, empathy and generosity and we are excited to witness the continued growth and development of our classroom community!
