Grade 4 Report
Term 1 was a busy one for the Grade 4 students.
Children settled into the senior timetable without a hitch and have enjoyed interacting with the older students.
As part of their science unit, students were lucky enough to venture to La Trobe Nangak Tamboree Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary focuses on awareness of self and the local world in a range of engaging activities. Through a range of hands on activities, children explored and investigated the natural world, with a focus on lifecycles of animals and plants.
Here are some thoughts from the students about the day:
“I liked when we fished for the little insects and bugs and got to use
the microscope.” Levi Y
“I liked creating food chains using all the different animals.” Cora K
“I liked looking through the microscope just like a scientist.” Clem D
“I liked doing the walk and reading all the different signs around
the sanctuary.” Ale F
