Year 7 Picture Book Competition Celebrates Student Storytelling

This term, our Year 7 students embarked on a creative journey, diving into the basics of storytelling structure and mastering language and structural conventions. Their mission: to craft a picture book inspired by a memorable event in their lives.

Throughout the term, students honed their storytelling skills, culminating in a selection of impressive narratives. Each class voted for their favorite stories, which were then showcased in our school library for several weeks. This display allowed students, teachers and staff to vote for their favourite, determining the coveted People's Choice Award.
