Year 7 Discovery Camp

All Year 7 students have been out in the great outdoors during the past two weeks.

Year 7 Discovery is the first of a comprehensive Outdoor Education program and leads students towards the challenges of Year 8 Adventure, Year 9 Endeavour, Year 10 Mittagundi or Wollangarra and the Year 11 Aspire Course.  

The primary focus of this program is to introduce all Year 7 students to the philosophy of Outdoor Education and to provide constructive time to get to work with their peers and teachers in a different environment. 

The Outdoor Education program is integral to the College's ethos and curriculum. Each student attended for three days with their group. The program consisted of bushwalking, orienteering, rock climbing, abseiling, mountain biking and a trip to the Desert Park.
