The Resilience Project

TRP@HOME Spotlight

We have recently accessed Student Wellbeing data from our children in Years 3 - 6 who completed the Resilient Youth Survey in the last week of Term 1 2024.

We are in our second  year of implementation in partnership with The Resilience Project and already we can see a positive impact that the program is having to support our children to develop practices in expressing Gratitude, Empathy, Mindfulness and in building up Emotional Literacy.  Please see the recent data below (2024) and the comparative data from 2023.  I look forward to working with focus groups of children to analyse the data as we continue to support the wellbeing and positive mental health needs of all children at St. John’s.

(Numbers in red for 2023 are the national average for schools implementing The Resilience Project. Those numbers have not been released yet for 2024)

We strongly encourage our parents and carers to attend the upcoming TRP webinar about ‘Authentic Connection’ on Wednesday 22nd May 2024. We hope to achieve a community approach to supporting our children to continue to flourish emotionally, socially, spiritually and academically.
