From the Deputy Principal

Exam Supervision Volunteers

We are seeking volunteers from our parent community to supervise Year 11 and 12 exams which will be held from Monday 20 May to Thursday 30 May inclusive, with an extra day for catch-up exams on Tuesday 4 June. There are two exams each day – the morning exam starts at 8:30 am and the afternoon at 12:30 pm. The minimum run time is 2.5 hours and the maximum run time is 3 hours and 10 minutes.

If you can assist us with supervising an exam, or series of exams, we ask you complete this survey either by the link provided or the QR code, indicating your dates and times of availability. A team will be formed by our Assistant Deputy Principal Administration, Beau Hemley, who will provide instructions for the supervision process.

If your son is in Year 11 or 12, we will appoint you to an exam they are not sitting. Heads of Learning Area will set up the exam and ensure all is in place with specific instructions as required and will stay for the first ten minutes of the exam (reading time.)

As this is child-related work, you will be required to have a Working With Children card or be in the process of applying for one. Details of this can be viewed at Working with Children Check - Application and renewal process (www.wa.gov.au).

Thank you for considering this volunteer service for our school community.  We look forward to working with you in this venture. If you have any queries, please contact me on 9291 1416 or email angove.liana@mazenod.wa.edu.au.
