Term 4 Week 10 - 10th December 2025

Sadly, this is our final newsletter for the 2025 Prep year. It’s been a wonderful year where students have learned new skills, made friends and grown in confidence. We are very proud of how far they have come academically and socially.

We have really enjoyed getting to know each of our Prep students and seeing their personalities and strengths shine in the classroom.

Thank you to all our Prep 2025 families for your support and partnership throughout the year. It has been greatly appreciated.

We will miss seeing you in 2026, but please feel free to stop by and say hello anytime. We wish all families a safe and happy holiday break.

Prep Mini Dinosaur Concert

The Preps did a fantastic job at their Mini Dinosaur Concert last week. They worked hard learning the songs and actions, and it was wonderful to see their confidence shine on stage. They should all feel very proud of themselves for giving it their best effort. A big thank you to the families who helped organise and supply costumes, the children looked amazing! We also appreciate everyone who came along to watch, cheer and support them. Having you there made the performance extra special and helped make it a memorable experience for the students.

Friendly Reminder

Many students are still coming to school without hats.  Please note that in term 4 hats are required for both lunchtime and recess play outside.

Important dates ahead:

Thursday 17th December - School Christmas Picnic 6-8pm

Thursday 18th December - End of term/year.

What have we been up to?

Well done to all our Preps for giving their assessments their very best effort. Each assessment was completed 1:1, and we are proud of how focused and resilient the children were throughout the process. During the remaining class time, we have been consolidating their phonics and maths skills, helping them feel confident with everything they have learned this year. We have also enjoyed some fun organising and end-of-year activities to celebrate their hard work.

Up day:

We had ‘Up day’ on Tuesday where all students got to meet their new grade 1 teacher and spend a morning in the grade 1 classroom. The students came back with lots of excitement and stories. Preps will continue to visit the grade 1 rooms so they feel comfortable on where they go on their first day in 2026.
