Prep Transition

We have enjoyed welcoming our new Preps for 2026 and their families over the past two Wednesdays. The children settled in beautifully and spent time becoming familiar with early school routines and their new learning environment.

Our next transition session will have an information session to introduce new families to our P&F processes and teaching team. This is a wonderful opportunity for our new families to meet one another and begin forming connections ahead of joining our school community in 2026.

Whole School Transition Day – Tuesday 9 December

Our Whole School Step Up Day will take place on Tuesday 9 December. All students will meet their 2026 teacher and class from 9:00am to 11:00am. After the session, students will return to their current classes and finish the day with their specialist programs.

School pick ups/drop offs

Please ensure the school office is notified by email on admin@smcastlemaine.catholic.edu.au or phone call if your child is being picked up by someone other than their parent or usual caregiver.

For safety reasons, students should not be collected by another adult without the parent’s permission. Your cooperation helps us keep all students safe and accounted for.

Uniforms

A reminder that if you need uniforms for next year, we have a selection of second-hand items available at the office. Families are welcome to come in and see what is available.

If your child has outgrown any uniform pieces this year, we would greatly appreciate donations. These items help support other families in our community and ensure uniforms are accessible to everyone. Thank you for your generosity and support.
