Assistant Principal Message

As 2025 draws to a close, it's worth reflecting on the incredible atmosphere around the college over these past couple of weeks. Students have welcomed our class of 2031, completed assessments, received reports, raised funds for charities, celebrated success and most importantly, continued learning until the final bell!
Students should be congratulated for their outstanding work ethic leading up to the holiday break. This spirit was beautifully celebrated during our Awards Presentation and Liturgy on Friday last week. It was a privilege to come together as a community to recognise that excellence at Kildare takes many forms. One of our expected behaviours within our PBL framework is to ‘Celebrate success’ and wow did we turn up and celebrate last Friday! Thank you to parents and community members for your support.
While we proudly celebrated academic success, it was equally inspiring to honor the diverse gifts of our student cohort. We recognised the determination of our athletes achieving sporting success, alongside the selfless dedication of those contributing through leadership and community service. We applauded the resilience of students pushing their boundaries in the Duke of Edinburgh program, the creativity of those achieving artistic success, and the profound impact of our cultural leaders who strengthen identity throughout our community. To all our recipients: hard work pays off, thank you for using the gifts God has given you in a way which brings us all toward the fullness of life.
As we head into the break, the staff of Kildare pray that this Christmas season brings peace and joy to you and your families. After another big year, I hope you find time to rest, recharge, and connect with loved ones. We look forward to welcoming you back, refreshed and ready for another big year of learning and opportunity!
