Graduate Outcome Awards
Over the last fortnight, teachers have been on the lookout for students who show the Graduate Outcome of FAITH.
Students who graduate from St Therese’s Primary School are people of FAITH, who develop a relationship with God.
Last week, we celebrated and acknowledged these students at our assembly with our awards presentation.
Our next focus, and the final one for the year, will be on the Graduate Outcome of HOPE
HOWZAT! State Champions!
Last Thursday, our Boys Cricket Blast team headed to St. Kilda to compete in the SSV State Titles. What started as a wet and drizzly morning turned into a lovely day for cricket. The boys played and won 3 games in their pool against Warrnambool, Preston and Shepparton East Schools, advancing them to the Grand Final against Nazareth PS (Geelong).
They saved their best game for last, with an outstanding batting and fielding display against a tough competitor. The boys were commended on their sportsmanship and encouragement by the Cricket Victoria staff who were officiating the day.
A huge congratulations to the team! James L, Darby K, Harry R, Ed P, Sam G, Lenny E, Louis L, Paddy C, Xavier H. A massive thank you goes to Henry and Wil for their expert coaching of the team and Mrs Woods for all her organisation and the awesome signs she made for the day.
Lastly, we would like to thank all the parents who transported their children and served as the cheer squad for the day. Best On Ground goes to Sam's dad, Jamie G, who took some spectacular catches from his chair!
What a way to finish off such a successful year in the SSV sporting arena!
Did you know that in 2025, BOTH our Boys and Girls teams powered their way through to the SSV Region Championships in Swan Hill—across Netball, AFL Football, Basketball, and Cricket Blast? What an incredible feat!
And the excitement doesn’t stop there! This year, TWO of our teams went on to compete at the State Titles: our Boys Cricket Team (1st) and our Boys Netball Team (3rd) in September. An amazing milestone for our school!
These achievements are something truly special. Every single student who has worn our new SSV uniforms and colours in SSV competitions this year should feel immensely proud. We are the ONLY school in the entire Bendigo region to reach these heights in 2025! What a year, what a school, and what a community to celebrate!

Christmas Carols
To celebrate the end of year, we will be holding Christmas Carols in the Altiumbra at 2pm on Friday 12th December. Each class will present a carol that connects with the story Wombat Divine, accompanied by simple movement sequences developed during Performing Arts lessons. The day will also be a Christmas Casual Clothes, gold coin donation in support of the Vinnies Christmas Appeal. Families are all welcome to attend and enjoy the festivities.
