Routine - Cue to Start

Our routine focus this week is “Cue to Start.” This routine helps us be ready for learning and prepared to listen actively to our teacher.

When we hear the teacher give the cue to start—and the countdown begins—we stop what we’re doing straight away. We pause our conversations, put down our materials, and make sure we are fully focused.

Getting to know our students:

We continue to learn more about our classmates at St Therese's. At our recent assembly, we were fortunate to hear from Harper, Isaac, and Ruby, sharing insights about themselves with our school community.

If you see any around our school, be sure to say hello and don't forget to use their name!

Fun Fact:Outside of school, I love playing basketball. Outside of school, I really enjoy playing cricket with my friends. Something I really enjoy outside of school is dancing. I have been dancing since I was 3 years old.
School Fact:When I am at school, I love going to music. My favourite thing about music is listening to the songs. When I am at school, I love learning maths, particularly multiplication and division. One thing at school that I love learning about is Maths and Inquiry. This year I have enjoyed learning different strategies to use when solving math problems.

Social Media Age Restrictions:

The Australian Government is protecting young Australians at a critical stage of their development, through world-first social media age restrictions taking effect on 10 December, 2025. From this date onwards, many social media platforms won’t be allowed to let Australians under 16 create or keep an account.
