NASCA DreamFest Camp

NASCA Academies came together at Lake Keepit for the Annual DreamFest Camp. Kempsey High School travelled with Melville and arrived to a warm Welcome to Country from Uncle Len Waters, who shared meaningful stories and knowledge of Country. Throughout the weekend, students took part in a range of activities designed to build confidence, teamwork and cultural understanding. These included Ochre Art with Uncle Len Waters, Yarn Up Sessions with Uncle Ted and Aunty Shelly Fields, Slip and Slide, Mud Run, an evening Scavenger Hunt, and Stories Under the Stars.
Each session encouraged students to connect with one another while culture remained the heart of the experience. DreamFest was a positive, successful and memorable way to bring NASCA Academies together, strengthen relationships, and wrap up the year by building new friendships and shared experiences grounded in culture.
