Year 1-2 News

In Science, students have been learning about forces by exploring the question, "What are forces and how do they make things move?"  They investigated push and pull actions and used a variety of materials to explore whether a weak or strong force was needed to make objects move.  Students observed how different objects responded depending on their size, weight, and the strength of the force applied.  They also enjoyed helping make a car launcher to investigate how far a car would travel depending on how far the rubber band was pulled back.
