OSHC Art Gallery – A Celebration of Creativity

Last week, our OSHC Art Gallery was transformed into a vibrant exhibition space, and it was a truly special experience for everyone involved. Children proudly showcased their artwork to their families, filling the room with excitement, colour and creativity.

Some of our senior children took on the role of hosts for the event, warmly welcoming families at the door, guiding them through the gallery, and offering refreshments. The kombucha and iced tea were especially popular! Families loved the thoughtful attention and took great joy in admiring their children’s work.

The atmosphere throughout the gallery was warm, joyful and celebratory, making it a wonderful way to come together and acknowledge the children’s creativity and confidence. Thank you to all the families who joined us and helped make the event so memorable.

Reminder: 2026 OSHC Bookings Now Open

A reminder that bookings for 2026 are now open. To keep the process simple, families do not need to re-enrol. All current enrolments remain active and account details are already in place.

All that is required is confirmation of your child’s attendance days and sessions (before school and/or after school) for 2026.

To make a booking for 2026:

• Please email OSHC with the days and sessions your child will attend.
• Do not create a new enrolment, as this may cause system errors.

We encourage families to confirm bookings as soon as possible to secure places and support a smooth start to the year.

Tumbling with Tara – Thank You, Tara!

This week marks Tara’s final Tumbling session for 2025, and we would like to take a moment to sincerely thank her for the incredible program she has delivered to our children.

Tara’s acro sessions have been skilfully planned, energetic and so much fun. The children have loved every single session, building confidence, strength and coordination while feeling supported and encouraged. Her positive energy, care and expertise have made a meaningful impact, and she has truly been a special part of our OSHC community.

We are incredibly grateful for the joy, enthusiasm and professionalism Tara brings, and we thank her for creating such a memorable and enriching experience for our children.

We look forward to finishing the year with lots of flips, jumps and big smiles!

When: Wednesday, 4:00–5:00pm(After School Care booking required)

Last Day of OSHC – Friday 19 December

Please note that Friday 19 December will be the final day of OSHC for the year. On this day, OSHC will operate with adjusted hours from 1:30pm to 6:00pm, and adjusted fees will apply.

If your child will not require care on this day, we kindly ask that you notify OSHC as soon as possible to assist with staffing and planning.

School Holiday Program – Summer Break

Please note that BNWPS OSHC does not operate a School Holiday Program during the summer break.

Families requiring care over the holidays are encouraged to contact Merri-bek Council or North Melbourne Primary School, who may be able to assist with available School Holiday Programs.
