End of Year Wrap

Plant & Produce Market – Thank You!

What a joyful way to wrap up the year. Thank you to everyone who contributed, helped out and supported our ‘Festive’ Plant & Produce Market last Friday afternoon — whether by baking/ cooking/ making, growing, crafting, volunteering, or purchasing on the day.

It was a wonderful afternoon full of colour, connection and community spirit, and we had a great result all round.

A special shout-out to everyone who brought those extra-special touches — from homemade lemonade made on site and clever fresh-apple spiralisers, to personal artworks, beautifully potted plants and cuttings, houseplants in pebble-filled jars, handcrafted floral bouquets, and all the wonderful produce, crafts and treats.

A special note of thanks to Finn (G6) and family for the creative (and very popular!) 3D-printed items.

If your child missed out and would like to order, a small second run is possible — please contact Brian Pearse (brian.pearce@gmail.com) by Tuesday.

All funds raised are generously donated back to BNWPS — thank you to all for your incredible contributions!

A Big CET Thank You

As we head into the holidays, we want to acknowledge what an incredible year it’s been for the Community Events Team.

In 2025, CET hosted a wide range of events including the Winter Solstice celebration, Annual Trivia Fundraiser, Spring Family Day High Tea, Pizza & Performance event, and our regular Plant & Produce Markets, and also supported broader school events such as the Wominjeka Picnic and Spring Magic Market.

Thank you to every volunteer with the CET who gave their time, energy and care — these moments don’t happen without you.

Looking Ahead to 2026

We’re wishing all BNWPS families a restful, restorative summer break and look forward to returning refreshed and ready for Term 1, 2026.

We also extend our deepest thanks to the incredible Anne Treasure, who is stepping aside from her co-chair role after three years of extraordinary service. Anne has brought generosity, creativity, insight and warmth to CET, while keeping us organised, grounded and aligned with school responsibilities. We’re very lucky she’ll remain on the team as a general member next year.

In 2026, Brigid will continue as CET Coordinator, supported by a refreshed structure of Event Leads and Sub-committees. More details will follow early next year — but there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved in ways that suit your time and capacity.

Stay Connected

If you’re interested in joining CET in 2026, we’d love to hear from you.

CET aims to work in balance — with flexible roles, shared responsibility, at a sustainable pace and without pressure. We’re especially keen to welcome new families, Dads and male-identifying carers, and anyone curious about contributing to our vibrant school community.

Thank you for a wonderful year — see you in 2026!
