A Message from Keir and Emma

“We would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people, the first people to dream, create, wonder, dance, play and learn on this breathtaking land. This land was cared for and respected for tens of thousands of years. The First Nations people lived in companionship with the animals and the life on this land. We acknowledge that this is stolen land and we pay our respects to elders, past, present and emerging.”

Goodbye and Good Luck!

We would like to take some time to thank the BNWPS staff members who will not be joining us in 2026. A huge THANK YOU and best of luck in wherever your 2026 takes you. You have all made significant contributions to the learning and lives of the students you have taught, the staff you have worked with, and the community as a whole. We wish you all the best.

You might even see some of these teachers working as CRTs next year - make sure you say ‘Hi’ if you do!

Reports

Semester two reports have been published through Sentral today. If you have any questions about your reports, please contact your child’s class teacher through Sentral.

2026 Term One Calendar

The 2026 term One calendar will be sent home towards the end of this week. Please make sure that you read carefully through the information on the back of the calendar, and that you store the calendar somewhere accessible throughout term one.

Last Day for 2025

The last day of school will be Friday 19th December where we will finish at 1:30pm. Please make sure you have made arrangements for your child to either be collected at 1:30pm or have them signed up to OSHC, which will start earlier in the afternoon.

We will hold a brief assembly from 1:00 pm so we can say goodbye to our grade 6 graduates and also to the families who won’t be part of our school next year.

Next year

We look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday 28th January (Grades One to Six) and Thursday 29th Jan (Foundation)ready for another full and exciting year of learning, creating & connecting.

We wish everyone a safe, restful and restorative holiday period. Thank you all for your learning, efforts, contributions, feedback and support throughout 2025.

With Kindness
