Year 3/4 poetry

Over the past few weeks, our Grade 3/4 students have been exploring the beauty and creativity of poetry. With the learning goal “We are learning to write poems” at the heart of our work, students have experimented with words, sounds and images to create writing that sparks emotion and imagination.

It has been wonderful to see students take risks with language (in both Italian and English sides), try new ideas and share their writing proudly with their classmates. From playful word choices to thoughtful imagery, their poems show how powerful young voices can be.
