Digital Technologies

Wow has STEM club been a hit this year! The last few weeks we have been "sold out". That means that all 59 devices I have available in the lab have been in use. Last week I even took down eight students names who came in and had missed out so they are assured of a device this week. It is great to see students on apps we have used in STEM classes during this time exploring and developing. I also have many students coming in to continue to work on projects they are currently doing in STEM. Then of course there are some students that just enjoy being able to use the time on some favourite websites like Cool Maths Games.
I was at a PD on Friday and was made aware of a section on the eSafety Commission website. This is for parents to attend live webinars on various topics to assist navigating through online safety and awareness. They vary in topic and for a variety of ages. They release these every term. I have included the brochure for Term 3. If you do attend a webinar I would love to know what you thought of it and if you go a lot out of it. Feel free to email me
