Year 4 Immigration Museum Excursion

Our Year 4 students recently visited the Immigration Museum as part of their History and Reading units. At the museum, students took part in an engaging information session about what it means to be a refugee or immigrant. They listened to powerful stories of people who have travelled from all over the world to begin a new life in Australia.

Following the museum visit, students explored the Sandridge Bridge, which commemorates the journey of migrants to Australia. The bridge features striking sculptures that represent different countries and cultures, giving students a deeper appreciation of Australia’s diverse heritage.

Grade 1 Scienceworks Excursion

Our Grade 1 students  had an exciting day last week exploring Scienceworks as part of their inquiry studies. The excursion was filled with hands-on learning, discovery, and plenty of fun!

Students enjoyed interactive exhibits that helped them investigate movement, forces, and how things work.

Foundation Firefighter Visit

Foundation students enjoyed an exciting visit from local firefighters. They learned about fire safety while also gaining an appreciation for the brave work that our firefighters do to protect our community.
