As the HSC exams draw near, we extend our heartfelt best wishes to each and every student in the Class of 2025. This is a pivotal moment in your academic journey, and we commend the dedication, resilience, and hard work you’ve shown throughout the year.
As you enter the final stretch, we encourage you to remain focused and consistent in your revision. The holiday period offers a valuable opportunity to consolidate your learning, refine your exam strategies, and build confidence in your abilities. Use this time wisely—balance your studies with rest, and stay committed to your goals.
With exams commencing on Thursday 16 October, it’s essential to maintain a steady routine and seek support when needed. Your teachers are here for you—not just as educators, but as mentors and allies. Whether you need clarification, encouragement, or guidance, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re ready to help you succeed.
For our current year 11 students and class of 2026, your final year at Brigidine is about to commence. This holiday period is a great time to renew your commitment to learning and prepare for the year ahead. An important reminder also, to ensure all resources and textbooks are ordered through our supplier Box of Books.

Supporting Study Success at Home
As we continue to support our students in their academic journey, I’d like to remind both students and parents of the valuable resources available to assist with study routines outside the classroom. One key tool at your disposal is the Study Skills Handbook—an interactive online platform designed to help students build essential academic skills.
The website offers a wide range of self-paced units that students can work through to strengthen their study habits and strategies. Whether you're looking to improve time management, tackle assignments more effectively, enhance your research techniques, or refine your presentation skills, this resource provides practical guidance tailored to secondary school learners.

At Brigidine, we are proud to partner with Elevate Education, whose evidence-based programs run throughout the school year to help students develop effective and sustainable study habits. From time management and note-taking strategies to exam preparation and motivation techniques, Elevate’s sessions are designed to equip students with the tools they need to thrive academically.
Elevate also offers a suite of resources specifically for parents, aimed at helping you reinforce these skills at home and guide your child through the challenges of senior study.

We strongly encourage parents to take advantage of these materials, especially the Parent Guide Book, which offers practical advice and insights into how you can best support your child’s learning journey. Your involvement makes a meaningful difference, and we welcome your partnership in fostering a culture of academic excellence.
