Year 2
Students have been busy learning about sound vibrations, soundwaves, pitch and volume. The plastic straw whistle experiment has been the highlight for us, so far!
Year 4
We say thank you to Ben Harper (Amelia’s Dad) from Coliban Water for helping us learn about the Natural Water Cycle. We are so lucky to have him as a resource!
Year 5
Students are embarking on an Erosion Challenge to improve an area in our school which has signs of erosion. We have explored the ‘power of water’ and with all the rain we have had of late we are seeing much erosion! This challenge encourages the best idea from students to be put forth to our principal to be actioned.
Donations
We are still in the search of the following:
- Jar lids
- Paper cups and paper plates (any that you might have left over from entertaining!)
- Shoe boxes
- Milo and Nesquik cannisters
Small yoghurt satchel lids. They make the most perfect wheels!
The donations box will be back outside the Foundation rooms. Thank you.
