Out and About

Vocational Major

Year 11 and 12 students met with some local Landcare members for a tree planting session at Pebble Beach last week. In just a short amount of time, their work has made a difference to this area.

Downhill Day 5

Season Summary - by Leonard Comerford.

Low Snow, High Spirits at Falls Creek

Against the breathtaking scenery of Falls Creek, this year's Downhill Snow Program proved that passion for snow sports thrives in all conditions. Our group of 50 student skiers and boarders embraced the mountain's challenges with enthusiasm, creating memories that will last long after the snow melts.

Under the expert guidance of the Falls Creek Snow Sports School, our students honed their skills during daily 1.5-hour lessons. We celebrated beginners conquering their first runs, intermediates carving graceful turns, and advanced skiers pushing their limits on the Summit's steep slopes.

Mother Nature tested our resilience with a mix of weather. We skied and boarded through snow, hail, and even transparent snow, showcasing our adaptability. The final day's slushy Towers laps were a testament to our group's ability to have fun and make the most of any condition.

Thankyou to all the staff, parents, guardians, and volunteers who made this Downhill Snow Program possible.

Fingers Crossed for a bigger and better snow season in 2025!
